Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Airbag warning light on the dashboard
  • Diagnostic fault code related to the control module itself
  • Multiple airbag-related faults appearing simultaneously

Installation information

Bolts to the vehicle chassis, typically under the centre console — requires specialist programming to the vehicle after replacement, and must never be sourced from a vehicle that has been in a collision.

Frequently asked questions

It’s the decision-making centre — it interprets all the crash sensors and controls deployment of every airbag in the vehicle, so any fault here can affect the entire system’s ability to protect occupants.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
