Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Alarm doesn’t arm or disarm when the button is pressed
  • Button feels loose or doesn’t spring back
  • Indicator light for the alarm not responding correctly

Installation information

Clips into the dashboard or console, connecting to the alarm control module — check correct arming and disarming after installation.

Frequently asked questions

This can be the button itself, but also check the vehicle’s central locking and door sensors, as alarm issues are often linked to sensors elsewhere in the system rather than this button alone.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
