Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • No sound anywhere in the system even though the radio works fine
  • Distortion or crackling at high volume
  • The amplifier shuts itself off (overheat protection)

Installation information

Mounts in the boot or under a seat, needs connecting to the radio, speakers and power supply with a solid earth connection.

Frequently asked questions

A radio’s built-in amplifier is usually low-powered — a separate external amplifier gives significantly cleaner sound at high volume and lets premium speakers perform properly.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
