The left roof airbag (side curtain airbag) deploys downward from the roof lining along the left side of the vehicle, protecting occupants’ heads in a side impact or rollover.
If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:
Airbag warning light on the dashboard
Visible deployment or damage to the roof lining on that side
Diagnostic fault code related to this specific airbag circuit
Installation information
Requires removing the headliner along that side — always follow correct safety procedures when working near the airbag system, including disconnecting the battery.
Frequently asked questions
A curtain airbag needs to deploy downward to cover the side windows for head protection during a side impact or rollover, so it’s stored and deployed from along the roof rail.
Super good! They came through with the part I needed, quickly and at a fair price! Thanks, and I definitely recommend!

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
