If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:
Grease flung around the inside of the wheel or wheel arch
Torn or split boot visible on inspection
Clicking noise when turning, developing after boot failure goes unaddressed
Installation information
Requires removing the driveshaft for access — always repack the joint with fresh grease before fitting a new boot.
Frequently asked questions
The outer joint works at a sharper angle when the wheel is turned — once contaminated from a torn boot, the resulting wear becomes most audible specifically during turns.
Super good! They came through with the part I needed, quickly and at a fair price! Thanks, and I definitely recommend!

I ordered a Heater Blower Motor Resistor for a Toyota Avensis. Delivery took eight days from Latvia to Ireland. I installed it, and everything works perfectly. I wish this company success.

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
