Is it dangerous to drive with this light faulty?

Yes, fog lights provide important visibility in poor conditions where they’re specifically needed — this should be repaired promptly.

Can this light be repaired instead of replaced?

Often just the bulb needs replacing rather than the whole unit — check whether the lens/housing itself is intact first.

What is the light made of?

A bulb or LED array in a durable plastic housing with a clear or yellow-tinted lens.

Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

Fog light not working
Cracked or damaged lens
Water ingress into the light unit

Installation information

Fits into the front bumper — check for correct bulb type and secure connection after installation.

Frequently asked questions

Fog tends to be less dense closer to the ground, so a lower, wide beam pattern helps illuminate the road surface without reflecting excessively off the fog itself.

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
