Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Windscreen heating doesn’t activate when the button is pressed
  • Button feels loose or doesn’t stay engaged
  • No noticeable heating effect despite the indicator light being on

Installation information

Clips into the dashboard, connecting to the vehicle wiring harness — verify the heating element activates correctly after installation.

Frequently asked questions

This can mean the button and its indicator work correctly, but the actual heating element in the glass has failed — a specialist check on the element itself helps confirm this.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
