Is a fault here a safety issue?

Not directly for driving safety, but it reduces heating and windscreen-demisting effectiveness, which matters for visibility in cold weather.

Can the fan be repaired instead of replaced?

Sometimes clearing debris from the impeller works, but if the motor has failed, replacement is more reliable.

An electric motor with a plastic impeller.

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
