Is it dangerous to drive with this panel faulty?

Depends on the affected function — a sunroof control fault is inconvenient rather than dangerous, while checking for anything safety-relevant (like an embedded microphone for hands-free calling) is worth confirming.

Can this panel be repaired instead of replaced?

For a worn internal switch contact, replacement is usually more straightforward than attempting a repair.

What is the panel made of?

Plastic housing with integrated bulbs/LEDs and switch mechanisms.

Panel loose or rattling
Cracked housing

Installation information

Clips into the roof trim, connecting to the vehicle wiring harness — requires the headliner panel to be released for access.

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
