Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Wipers don’t activate automatically in rain
  • Wipers activate when there’s no rain
  • Inconsistent wiping speed relative to rainfall intensity

Installation information

Mounted on the inside of the windscreen, usually near the rearview mirror — requires optical gel to be reapplied for a proper connection to the glass.

Frequently asked questions

It works by detecting how light reflects through the windscreen, and this optically clear gel ensures a bubble-free connection between the sensor and glass for accurate readings — without it, results are unreliable.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
