The seat-mounted (side torso) airbag deploys from the outer edge of the seat backrest to protect the torso in a side impact, an alternative design to door-mounted side airbags.
If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:
Airbag warning light on the dashboard
Visible damage to the seat side bolster trim
Diagnostic fault code related to this specific airbag circuit
Installation information
Requires partial seat cover disassembly — always follow correct safety procedures when working near the airbag system, including disconnecting the battery.
Frequently asked questions
Mounting the airbag in the seat means its position relative to the occupant stays consistent regardless of seat adjustment, which some manufacturers consider advantageous compared to a fixed door-mounted position.
Super good! They came through with the part I needed, quickly and at a fair price! Thanks, and I definitely recommend!

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
