Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Liner sagging or peeling away from the bonnet
  • Increased engine noise in the cabin
  • Oil or moisture staining on the insulation

Installation information

Fits with factory clips or adhesive — when fitting, make sure the material doesn’t contact hot engine parts.

Frequently asked questions

Only slightly — its main job is sound deadening rather than heat protection, but damaged or oil-soaked insulation performs both functions worse.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
