Is it dangerous to drive with this boot torn?

Not immediately, but water intrusion can damage carpet, electrical connectors, and cause a mould/damp smell over time — repair when convenient.

Is this an easy DIY fix?

Yes, in most cases this is a simple, accessible job that just involves fitting the new boot around the column at the firewall.

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
