Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Sunroof doesn’t respond when the control is operated
  • Control feels loose or doesn’t spring back to centre
  • Sunroof moves erratically or stops partway

Installation information

Clips into the overhead console panel — check smooth operation through the full range of movement after installation.

Frequently asked questions

Most commonly a worn internal contact within the switch itself, though it can also point to a fault in the sunroof motor or its limit switches — testing the switch in isolation helps narrow this down.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
