Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Light not activating when the boot opens
  • Light staying on constantly
  • Cracked or damaged lens

Installation information

Clips into the boot lid trim, connecting to the vehicle wiring harness and a door-open switch.

Frequently asked questions

This is often caused by a faulty switch that fails to register the boot as "closed", leaving the light on and potentially draining the battery over time if left unaddressed.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
