Is it dangerous to drive with a faulty stalk switch?

Depends on the function — a lighting or cruise control stalk fault is a genuine safety concern and should be repaired promptly; other functions are less urgent.

Can this stalk be repaired instead of replaced?

For a worn internal contact, replacement is usually more straightforward than attempting a repair.

What is the stalk made of?

Plastic with an internal electrical switch mechanism.

No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
