Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Headlight flickering or a delay before the light reaches full brightness
  • Headlight not lighting at all on one side
  • Light with a strange colour tint (bluish or pinkish) compared to the other side

Installation information

Mounted near the headlight, connected to the bulb and vehicle wiring harness — always handle with care, as it generates very high voltage.

Frequently asked questions

A failing ballast can struggle to maintain a stable arc within the bulb, causing visible flickering or colour shifts before it stabilises, if it stabilises at all.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.
