Signs of a faulty part

If you notice any of the following, the part likely needs replacement:

  • Air conditioning runs unevenly, with temperature swings
  • Icing at isolated points in the system
  • Air conditioning stops cooling entirely

Installation information

Fits into a break in the refrigerant line — always replaced during any significant air-con system repair.

Frequently asked questions

The desiccant inside becomes saturated with moisture over time and loses its effectiveness, and opening the system for repair inevitably lets in air with moisture — the old dryer can’t handle the new load.

  • No complaints about Evro Trans itself, everything's fine. But the delivery..... It felt like the order was being carried by turtles. 4 days from Riga to Daugavpils. Judging by the tracking, the parcel just sat somewhere behind a shed for 3 days, then they found it and delivered it the next day. I think that's why I won't be ordering there again.

  • Bought a front fender for my car. I liked it! After payment they sent more than 20 photos of the problem areas, and it was packed very securely - took a while to unwrap.
